This session is for you! The session will also explore the key role of contact officers in bringing the benefits of Eurocities membership to their city and connecting the city administration with the Brussels office. It will provide a space to engage in discussion with the Eurocities team and share the specific needs and interests of participants’ cities.

Various venues - Participants will be guided to site visits and accompanied by colleagues from Turin and the team at Eurocities.
The four site visits will focus on different themes connected to the Cooperation Platform and feature presentations from and discussions with representatives of the City of Turin and local stakeholders. Participants will explore examples of inclusive urban regeneration, community-based services, green innovation, industrial heritage, culture and open innovation.
This study visit will explore how the City of Torino promotes inclusive urban regeneration in Porta Palazzo, one of Europe’s most multicultural neighbourhoods. Participants will visit Porta Palazzo Market and learn about public investments, place-based policies and initiatives supporting social cohesion and local entrepreneurship. The programme will also feature the Portineria di Comunità and SERMIG as examples of community support and social inclusion. Meetings with city representatives and local stakeholders will provide insights into Torino’s collaborative governance model.
This study visit will take participants to one of Torino’s Neighbourhood Houses, local hubs for participation, community building and social innovation. The visit will illustrate how the City works with third-sector organisations through a shared policy framework and collaborative governance arrangements. Participants will explore how these spaces connect the municipal administration with residents, associations and informal groups. The experience offers a transferable model for proximity-based services and community-led urban regeneration.
This study visit will explore the transformation of a former industrial area into Parco Dora, a major public park combining green space and industrial heritage. Participants will learn how the City of Turin guided the regeneration process through planning instruments, public investment and environmental remediation. The visit will continue at Environment Park, an innovation ecosystem supporting sustainable solutions and cooperation between public authorities, research institutions and businesses. The experience shows how municipal leadership can connect urban regeneration, public value and technological innovation.
This study visit will explore OGR Torino, a former railway repair complex redeveloped by Fondazione CRT as a center for culture, technology and entrepreneurship. Participants will discover how industrial heritage can be transformed into a platform for creativity, research, business development and international cooperation. The visit will include a focus on OGR Tech and its innovation ecosystem. From a municipal perspective, the experience offers an opportunity to discuss how cities can connect privately led regeneration projects with wider urban development and innovation strategies.
