Eirik Lae Solberg is the Governing Mayor of the City of Oslo since October 2023. Previous roles include City Council Representative, Vice Mayor for Finance in Oslo, State Secretary in the Ministry of Modernization and Ministry of Trade and Fisheries, Director in Deloitte and Communications Director for Microsoft Norway. Lae Solberg has academic degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Cambridge.

Marit Kristine Vea took office as Vice Mayor for Environment and Transport in October 2023. Previous roles include City Council Representative, political advisor to the Vice Mayor for Environment and Transport and Minister of Climate and the Environment, advisor for the NGO ZERO and Future in our hands. Vea has an academic degree from London School of Economics and Political Science.

Eugenio is a 51-year-old lawyer and Deputy Mayor for Mobility for the City of Rome. In March 2018, he was elected, for the second consecutive term, as regional councillor of Lazio in the PD lists and served as chairman of the Infrastructure, Public Works, Mobility and Transport Commission. From 2006 to 2008, he was Rome City Councilor. From 2007, he served as head of the PD Lazio Mobility Department, and in 2010, he was elected President of PD Rome. From 2002 to 2005, he collaborated with the Department of Mobility Policies of the Municipality of Rome and was Chairman of the Advisory Commission on Non-Scheduled Public Service.

Anni Sinnemäki is the Deputy Mayor for the City of Helsinki, responsible for Urban environment. Her special focus areas in city politics are sustainable growth and low carbon transport. The most important project for her has been the ambitious Carbon Neutral Helsinki 2030 Action Plan.
Sinnemäki was Member of the Finnish Parliament for 15 years (1999–2015), representing The Greens of Finland. She was Minister of Labour and chair of the Green party from 2009 to 2011.
Sinnemäki is born in Helsinki, is married and has two children. She has published two collections of poems and she also wrote lyrics for albums by Ultra Bra group

Sergio Lo Giudice is the Chief of Cabinet of the Metropolitan City of Bologna and the Mayor's delegate at work. He graduated from the University of Messina with a degree in Philosophy, a subject that he taught for many years in high school. For almost ten years, he was President of Arcigay, the most important national LGBTQIA+ association in Italy. He was a Municipal Councilor in Bologna, consultant to the Ministry of Equal Opportunities and, from 2013 to 2018, Senator of the Republic and member of the Justice and Human Rights Commissions of the Senate. He married his partner Michele in Oslo in 2011, and he is the father of two children, Luca and Alice.

Born in 1969, he graduated in Bologna in 1996 in Civil Engineering. He immediately began to deal with territorial and urban planning and mobility. Today, he is the Director of the Territorial Planning Area of the Metropolitan City of Bologna for which, among other things, he directed the Sustainable Mobility Plan, the first Strategic Plan and the Metropolitan Territorial Plan, considered among the most important instruments of governance of the territory innovated on the European scene. He was a consultant to the Technical Mission Structure of the Ministry of Infrastructure, taking care of the public transport part of the 2017 DEF. He is a member of the national commission on SUMPs. He has served as general manager of European projects in relation to airports and railways. He has been a consultant for numerous national and local institutions. He is a lecturer at the Master in Urban Desarrollo of the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. He has taught at Italian (Bologna, Ferrara, Naples, Rome) and foreign universities, Barcelona (E), Cornell (NY-USA), Grenoble (F). He was a member of the National Council of the National Institute of Urban Planning. Today he is on the national board of the Italian Society of Transport Policies. Morten Wasstøl is Director General for Urban Development in Oslo, reporting directly to the Vice Mayor for the urban development sector. Morten’s department is responsible for the City land-use plan and Regional Plan for land-use and transport, as well as processing planning applications, real estate and heritage sites and buildings. Morten studied urban planning at LSE and has worked in the public and private sectors in Norway. 

Magnús Sigfússon is one of the Directors at City hall administration in Gothenburg. He´s been employed by the City since 1986 and during those years mainly worked in the field of urban planning and development with a variety of questions related to that at the Urban planning authority, the Facility management authority and for the last 8 years at City hall administration.

Cecilia Braun studied spatial planning at ETH Zurich and completed a PhD on the integrated spatial and transport planning along the Rhine-Alpine Corridor in 2018. She is partially working a mobility project leader on the local level in Zurich and as a director for the Interregional Alliance for the Rhine- Alpine Corridor EGTC on the macro-regional level.

Karen Vancluysen was appointed as Secretary General of POLIS, the leading European network of cities and regions on urban transport innovation in September 2014, following eight years as the network’s Research Director. Prior to that, Karen worked as network manager at ACCESS-Eurocities and as project manager at Langzaam Verkeer, a Belgian centre for mobility management.

Since 1998, Karen has been involved in European urban transport networking and policy activities and EU research and innovation projects, covering a wide range of urban mobility topics from the perspective of cities and the governance of innovation.

Ivo Cré As POLIS’ director for policy activities and EU research and innovation projects and the leader of the Working Groups on Access and Parking, Ivo is active in EU research and innovation projects and advocacy relating to EU urban mobility research and innovation, TEN-T, SUMP, public transport, access regulations, parking, and digitalisation in each of these areas. He also co-leads the ERTRAC-ERRAC-ALICE Urban Mobility Working Group and leads the UVAR and Parking subgroup within DG MOVE’s Expert Group on Urban Mobility.
Before joining POLIS, Ivo worked at Eurocities and served as an advisor to a Member of the European Parliament and the Belgian Federal Minister for Environment.

Thomas Lymes is policy advisor for mobility & air quality at Eurocities, the network of the largest European cities. As such, he provides advice to city officials on EU affairs and represents the network on air quality and mobility before the EU institutions. Before joining Eurocities, Thomas spent several years working in the private sector, advising an automotive manufacturer on EU digital policies and in the EU institutions.

Martin Zeitler holds a Master's in Geography and Political Sciences from the University of Leipzig. He started its career at the European Commission in 2011, working in various units before specialising in Impact Assessment and Evaluation within the DG Mobility and Transport. Currently, Martin serves as Adviser to Pat Cox for the Scandinavian Mediterranean TEN-T Corridor, focusing on enhancing Europe's transportation networks.

Henrik Zetterquist is an analyst at the Swedish Transport Administration, business area Market and Planning. Main work field includes areas such as governance, cooperation and planning. Also part of a group that develops and manages guidelines and other materials within the Swedish SUMP field.

Alberte Ruud is the Secretariat leader for the Oslo Package 3 and urban development cooperation in the Oslo Region. She started in the position on 1 March of this year, coming from the job as secretariat leader for the Buskerud City Region. Alberte has previously worked at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, where she was involved in the development and monitoring of Urban Development Agreements. She has also worked as a researcher and analyst at Urbanet Analyse and at the Institute of Transport Economics.

I / Sanneke Bolderheij has worked in mobility and regional cooperation for the last years. First for the city of Amsterdam and the local Transport Authority. Recently I/she has moved to the city of Dordrecht. Dordrecht is one of the new cities on the TEN-T Network. It is also a city in a region with many chances and challenges.

Tommi Vollmann is a desk officer at the Joint State Planning Department Berlin-Brandenburg. There he heads the secretariat of the Scandria Alliance, a cooperation platform of cities and regions along the ScanMed corridor. Tommi has a background in Northern European Studies and Communication Sciences and has been involved in the development and coordination of transnational cooperation projects for fifteen years.

Master in Forestry Engineering by the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Expert in Geographical Information Systems (G.I.S.) and Remote sensing by the Complutense University of Madrid.

He worked as Environmental Consultant in the biggest Law firm in Spain until 2008, when he joined EMT Madrid, public company owned by the city of Madrid, which is the biggest public mobility operator in Spain, managing different mobility services such as the bus, the tow trucks service, underground parking facilities, e-bike sharing system Bicimad and the cable car.

He specialized himself in sustainable urban mobility with special emphasis in mobility governance, electric mobility and international projects and networks. He is currently leading the International and EU projects department of the Madrid Public Transport Company.

Jonas Karlsson works as CEO of the company Oslo-Sthlm 2.55, which has the task of fast forward the implementation of a better rail connection between the capitals. The company Oslo-Sthlm 2.55 is owned by the major cities and regions in the corridor and brings together Oslo to Stockholm. A better connection between the capitals would create a stronger and more sustainable Nordic region.

Thomas Becker is the Managing Director of the political cross-border organisation STRING. Thomas has several years of experience within green tech, climate policy and sustainable development from both the public and the private sector. He has worked for the Danish government, the EU and the UN, including the preparation of the prestigious COP15 under the Danish presidency in 2009.

Michiel Penne has been living in and working for the city of Antwerp for more than 10 years. In his team, Smart Ways to Antwerp, 12 mobility professionals are working on a modal shift in the Antwerp region with an employer approach, extensive marketing programme, technological tools (for example a unique multimodal route planner) and intense stakeholder management. As coordinator of the Horizon Europe project SCALE-UP, Michiel oversees 28 mobility measures in Antwerp, Turku and Madrid that focus on the transition towards sustainable mobility.

Christoph Helf is head of shared and connected mobility at the mobility department Munich, working to drive the success of innovation at all levels of the mobility transformation.

With over ten years of experience in the field of sustainable urban mobility, Chris knows about the trends of future mobility and has seen first-hand how continuous innovation in a diverse environment leads not only to greater development and engagement, but also to increased change of mobility behavior.

Before City of Munich, he was working in the field of development in Malawi, Kenia, Tanzania and Ethiopia. As part of a multinational taskforce he consulted with corporations to build greater intercultural leadership and management skills for urban planning. Chris is passionate about people, governance of mobility transformation and successful innovations.

Erik Stok is senior advisor of international affairs for the Netwerkstad Twente, which consists of the cities of Almelo, Hengelo and Enschede in the Netherlands. He is active as a member of the NorthSea- Baltic Forum and Eurocities for topics on mobility in combination with urban planning and innovation.

Juliane Martinius, born January 3, 1975, in Berlin, heads the "Holistic Transport Strategies" division in the Transport Development department of the Ministry of Transport and Mobility Transition in Hamburg since 2017. She oversees the SUMP process and coordinates transportation strategies from other ministries. From 2011-2017, she prepared the Sump Process; before that, she led the unit for planning permissions on major roads (2006-2011). Her career began as an urban planning trainee in Hamburg after graduating with a diploma in urban and regional planning from the Technical University of Berlin in 2001. In 2020, she started project management for KOGOMO, focusing on strengthening local government for implementing shared service systems with private partners until 2024.

Steve Danesch is an expert in the field of rail transport and takes care of Berlin's long-distance connections. He has experience as a project manager in a wide range of rail-related projects. Before joining the Berlin Senate Department, he worked for the Berlin-Brandenburg Transport Association in the planning of regional rail transport. He studied urban planning and geography. 

Stella Aaltonen is an expert in sustainable mobility, project management and stakeholder involvement. Currently, Ms. Aaltonen leads Scale-up and USER-CHI projects in Turku. These projects tackle, among other things, cycling services, mobility services, mobility activation in schools and day care units, usage of data, e-charging and nudging of users.

Peter Austin an urban and regional planner. He works as planning advisor in the Urban Development Department, City of Oslo, with responsibility for regional and international collaboration in the field of urban development. He is also co-chair of the working group for Metropolitan Areas in EUROCITIES.

Anders Ask is Area Manager for Oslo with Ruter AS, the publicly owned company that plan, coordinate, procure and market public transport in Oslo and Akershus. As Area Manager, Ask is responsible for developing an attractive public transport offering in Oslo to deliver on Ruter's ambition of sustainable freedom of movement. Previously Ask has been in corporate finance and management consulting with EY and PwC focusing among other things on development of infrastructure and services within public transport.

Johan Granberg (MSc) is a foresight and innovation manager with RISE – Research Institutes of Sweden. Mainly engaged in policy and governance projects on mobility, energy, and built environment, he is currently a work package leader in MOVE21. Based in Gothenburg, he has experience from the national, transnational and EU levels.

Geiske Bouma is Senior Researcher in the field of Urban Planning and Governance Innovation. Her projects are focused on urban, spatial and environmental planning and the policy interface. Most of the projects are part of interactive decision-making processes where different actors and participants are active. The working field she is focused on is the connection of urban planning in relation to the mobility and energy transition gearing towards climate neutral and smart cities. She combines this with supporting policy development on the local, regional and national/EU level. She is experienced in methods of action research, Living Lab methodology and approaches, policy evaluation, case study analysis. Geiske is active in several European projects aimed at climate neutrality: NetZeroCities (supporting the EU Cities Mission), MOVE21 (hubs for people and goods), ATELIER (positive Energy Districts), MAGPIE (European project for Smart Green Ports).
