PROSPECT+ Community of Practice: meeting on Crowdfunding and Crowdinvesting cover image

On Monday 24 February 2025, PROSPECT+ Community of Practice members will meet online with Sanela Mikulčić Šantić from Krizevci (Croatia) and Jean-François Maljean from Etterbeek (Belgium), who will share their experience with using crowdfunding and crowdinvesting to finance energy transition.

During this 1.5-hour event, you will hear about how Krizevci successfully financed solar installations on municipal buildings through citizen crowdlending, raising €23,000 in just two days for a solar PV project on the city library. You will also learn how Etterbeek became the first Belgian municipality to raise public savings through a crowdfunding platform, securing €1.2 million in just a few hours.

Participation:

The number of participants is limited to 25, to allow for questions and discussion. The participants will have an opportunity to share and compare their experience and to reflect on the differences in regulations and practices in various countries.

This meeting is only for Prospect+ Community of Practice members. If you are not a member, you need to register first: https://www.h2020prospect.eu/community-practice
