EU and national level delegates share their priorities regarding the engagement of citizens in policymaking and monitoring activities, as well as the role of science and data in informing policies more broadly.

CitiObs Case and City Representatives join the session to compare views (values, perceived risks and benefits, relationships, different positions) on how Citizen Observatories can help to strengthen trust in environmental policymaking.

Break-out sessions

With the previous panel discussion in mind, participants will be divided into three break-out groups and comment on one of the trust issues the policy brief's puts forward, reacting and examining the policy recommendations presented, suggesting any refinements or additions, while engaging in an open dialogue with CO practitioners participating in the Roundtable.

Participants will be able to comment on their discussion, highlighting what struck them and what they bring home.
