On 21-22 October 2025, the Eurocities Working Group on Migration & Integration and the Urban Agenda Partnership action group on integration funding will meet in Milan to explore EU funding frameworks as well as innovative initiatives that cities and other local authorities have developed and directly contributed to the overall improvement of migrant integration outcomes over the past decade.
The mutual learning meeting aims to identify and discuss know-how in funding integration initiatives using European resources, as part of a new collaboration between Eurocities and the Council of Europe Development Bank.
Purpose of the meeting
The purpose of the meeting is twofold:
- To raise awareness among participating cities, regions, and social economy actors of the funding options available under InvestEU - SISW and the Advisory Hub, with a focus on CEB’s product and experience under the programme.
- To discuss and identify, based on concrete case studies, in particular that of the Milano Welcome Centre and associated integration initiatives, future funding opportunities via InvestEU and other EU and CEB funding sources.
