Venues

- Hotel de Ville (City Hall)

The entrance is located at 9 rue Brûlée, next to Place Broglie, in the heart of Strasbourg. This splendid 18th-century building hosted key events of the foundation of Europe such as the first meeting of the ministers’ committee of the Council of Europe in August 1949, resulting in the creation of the first European institution.

- European Parliament

Inaugurated in 1999 by French President Jacques Chirac, the European Parliament seats in Strasbourg since 1977, when the Council of Europe welcomed the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) at the Palace of Europe. For more than twenty years now, the distinctive glass-clad building hosts the monthly plenary sessions of our elected MEPs and represents an architectural landmark for the city. You will be welcomed at 1 Avenue du Président Robert Schuman.
