How to get to Utrecht

From Schiphol Amsterdam Airport

Schiphol Airport is the international airport closest to Utrecht. From Schiphol, trains to Utrecht take about 30 minutes and depart every 15 minutes. The train station is situated directly below the airport. A taxi from the airport to Utrecht will take you 30 – 40 min and costs around €75 - €95.

From Eindhoven Airport

Eindhoven Airport is the second largest airport in the Netherlands. Getting to Utrecht takes you approximately 1,5 hours, by a combination of bus and train. A taxi from the airport to Utrecht will take you also 1,5 hours and costs around €150 - €175.

By train

Utrecht has excellent rail connections to major European cities, with direct trains from Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt and Basel, and easy one-stop connections from Hamburg, Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Antwerp and London.
