LABoral Art and Industrial Creation Centre: Los Prados, 121, Gijón 33203, Asturias, Spain

LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial (Centre for Art and Industrial Creation) is located in Gijón, about three kilometres from the town centre  and it was created on the initiative of the Government of the Principality of Asturias to strengthen the field of technological culture as part of a strategy that seeks to implement alternative models for the future.

LABoral Art and Industrial Creation Centre is a pioneering exhibition and production space in Spain at the intersection of Art, Science and Technology. LABoral produces a groundbreaking program of exhibitions, workshops and activities for all audiences. It hosts residency programmes and creation laboratories available to artists, collectives and creative industries.

How to get to Gijon

By plane:

The airport is located 40 km from Gijón/Xixón. It offers flights to major Spanish and European cities: Air connections Asturias Airport. From/ to the aiport, you can take a direct bus to Gijón/ Xixón. Here are the timetables: https://www.alsa.es/ Or a taxi. Price around 50-60 €

by bus

Another option for reaching Gijón/Xixón is by bus. ALSA offers bus routes with direct scheduled service that connect the city with Madrid, Santander, León, A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Bilbao, Barcelona (among others)

By train:

RENFE has several daily services (high speed train) from Madrid.
